    @nmay11 – It’s not brash, it’s thoughtful to want to share in the celebration of her birth. Texting is very superficial and won’t make her fonder of you. Either she wants to see you periodically or she doesn’t. Or she might be considering reuniting or she isn’t and texting won’t change that. Seeing you in person and observing the changes will have more impact than writing words in a text.

    Well today is her birthday. I still haven’t decided what to do. I’ve thought of dropping a letter off in her mailbox or just texting her. Or not reaching out at all. After all, she didn’t reach out on my birthday? Doesn’t that show she doesn’t care
