Question about our age and the EBP system

Hi,

My girlfriend of 1.5 years (and friend of 25 years) just broke up with me over the usual. She cited lack of communication and lack of support and interest in her personal life such as sports and other aspects her daily life. I’m 41 and shes 42. She dumped my by phone using a very mean and angry approach I suspect to make the process easier for her.

I’ve done no contact for a week now and have started on personal improvement. What I’m wondering though is if this system is more effective for younger less relationship experienced people. I have a feeling that given the amount of relationships she had before me that this may be futile. Any stats on this?
