After I begged my ex boyfriend to take me back because I was too angry about other problems, and asked him to leave me (even thought I didn’t even mean it). After talking, he said he wouldn’t take me back because he doesn’t give any other chances especially because I ended things.. When I pleaded, he said its a no for now but the future will decide,I feel like he’s just trying to comfort me. And he said he would be here for me as friends, and we’ve been talking as friends since the break up… Should I stop and go through the NC even though its so hard because we were talking nonstop for a long time? Or do something he expects from me to do so the future will get us back together?
In the NC period, should I still see my ex’s story on Snapchat? Should I post pics showing how “happy” I am and how I’m moving on so he could see it? (Pictures of me shopping, hanging out, smiling etc)
I don’t know how long you were together, when you broke up, or why you broke up with him, but now he gets to decide if he wants to get back together with you or not. And sorry, but it sounds like he only wants to be friends. If you know why he doesn’t want to try again, improve yourself in those areas. Since you’ve been talking as friend, it would be a good idea to let him know you want to do no contact for at least a month to work on your own issues. This will lead him to believe you are serious about your issues and wanting to change. Don’t post a lot of social media stuff as it usually backfires.
