I just thought I’d give you all some encouragement for doing no contact! EVERY EX OF MINE HAS COME BACK and continues to come back (if I let them). In fact, an ex of mine from a couple relationships ago is currently texting me about how cute I was to make him a Valentine’s day card. I no-contacted this guy hard and ignore his texts all the time, but here he is texting me after we broke up in August 2017.
And since my most recent boyfriend broke up with me (the ex I’m trying to win back), two other exes have asked me out and even had the audacity to ask me to hook up. So to date, EVERY EX (other than my most recent) OF MINE HAS COME BACK and some just don’t give up! NO matter how bad our relationship was or who broke up with who!
As long as you’re not too much of an jerk, with time they’ll realize what they lost. Hang in there 🙂
Disclaimer: You gotta work on yourself, be confident, and know you’re a catch though. Become the woman that every man wants (or vice versa) 🙂
Thank you so much for this post. I’m only a few days into no contact (starting from scratch after an event I had to be at with my ex, which was a huge setback for my recovery) and it’s been hell, but reading something like this gives me a lot of hope.
Thanks Sallys. I’m not feeling too great right now but I’m looking forward to feeling like a strong, independent woman and having my life back. Whether he’s in it or not, it’s his loss because I had damn good intentions!
Also: My now-ex-again came back after NC too. Just at the point where I was starting to move on. I actually ignored his messages at first because I wasn’t interested – NC is magical and the best thing you can do!
To give you guys more encouragement, the former ex I referred to (see above) texted me again this week asking if I’m single and that he “still doesn’t understand why we broke up”.
And I have even better news: my current ex (the one I want back) and I have started talking again, and he has initiated the conversations! We talked for about half an hour in a coffee shop, and then that night he texted me, and we texted back and forth for another day 🙂
BUT because I have been doing no contact, I’m emotionally stable and in control of our conversations. I’ve been keeping him at a distance, which seems to draw him in more (and any other guys in my life!) So don’t give up 🙂
That’s great news Sallys, a fantastic start!
I don’t have high hopes on my ex coming back this time, he has in the past but he seems pretty adamant and I’ve not heard from him in a while. Who knows what the future holds though, I’m going to start dating and see what happens.
I have a lot of self improvement to do at the moment and I’m loving putting my energy into myself. Whether he sees it or not (it’s unlikely he will) I’m really looking forward to seeing what my future holds.
