I broke up with my girlfriend 3 times over a span of a year and a half. This doesn’t sound good but we loved each other very much and each time she wanted to get back together until the last time which was about 2 months ago. I created every difficult situation in our relationship, 1st time it was her age, second time it was our religion differences, and the last time it was because she moved away and she seemed to be treating me differently. In reality each break up happened because I did not know how to handle the situation and I believe I was trying to control the relationship. I recently just contacted her to see if she would be willing to get back together but this time she told me that she has moved on and is now dating someone else. She does not want to talk to me at all. I find it hard to let go because for one I love her and she was a great partner to me. Second because I feel that I created the present situation and I believe we can make this work because the issues that I mentioned before do not matter anymore to me. I’ve realized that when someone loves you with all their heart, that’s all someone could hope to find in a partner. Please someone help me with any ideas or suggestions that I can do besides any information that is on this website. I would greatly appreciate it!!!

I can not give much of an advice. I would just like to tell you to stay strong and to first concentrate on yourself! How many days/weeks ago did you break up? My ex and i broke up before as well (however, we arent a couple anymore as he decided to move on without me). I think at one point both just deserve the time without the other. Stay calm and dont contact her. focus on your life for a while and do things you have always wanted to do. your ex also deserves some time to figure out her life and feelings. if she involved herself with someone new right away, most probably it is not going to last for long. my ex deeply loved me, too (i believe) but now he doesnt want any contact it seems. iam also trying to leave him alone and to respect his wish of “peace”. i think it shows respect and also that iam still independent and strong! you should do the same for now. give it some time (a month or two). work on yourself. enjoy life and try yo catch up with her in a few weeks. things might just have to calm down.
although, she might be hurt if you broke up with her so often… if i was her, i would be, too! for the future: love can stand above a lot of things. i believe giving up and breaking up in a relationship should be a step you dont just do “in a moment” or out of “a mood”.
    😉

    Hi!

I think you have first to make a reflection about yourself and what has gone wrong. Refresh the moments you had with her and take note of the times when she was happy and had enjoyed your company. Then, take it from there. Set your mind to get her back but remember to focus on good moments. Forget the negative ones. Do things that makes her happy to be with you. Show her that you are determine to have her back. Stay positive, always. It might not be easy but never be tired of putting up something. Try new things. Make it fun. Change your mindset and let her see the goodness and sincerity in you. For sure, even if she is dating someone, she’ll be back with you! Goodluck!
