I’ve started no contact at the start of this month, but at the end of it is my ex’s birthday, I wanted to know if asking if I could take him out for his birthday would be a bad idea, or counter productive, I don’t want to ruin my chances of getting him back, but I don’t want to ignore his birthday
It would be okay to send a birthday card, but as to asking to see him would depend on why he broke up with you and if you think he might want to see you again.
His reason was that he needs to find out who he is without me because we spent a lot of time together, and he was scared he couldn’t function without me. He never said he doesn’t love me thou, which I hope is a good sign. I’ve been giving him his space thou, so hopefully he can find himself
